Supplies Needed:

  • 53 Beads (Oriental Trading Co. product code IN-12/1047)
  • 30-36" piece of lacing (Oriental Trading Co. product code IN-27/619)
  • Ziploc Bags

 

Instructions for Bead Cross Necklace:

  • Before the trip place beads and lacing in Ziploc Bags
  • To start the craft, give each child a small packet with beads and lacing
  • Show an example of how to braid the necklace
  • Have leaders divide up and help children to braid their necklaces.
  • Make sure to tie off lace in appropriate places
