Guide to Writing a Donation Letter
Today's Date
Dear Partner,
I am stepping out in faith and joining a team that will
be ministering in Location. It
will be an experience with all of the challenges that come
with working in a different culture, a unique environment,
and with a language I am not skilled speaking. I am excited
to see how God works, not only in the lives of the people we
work with, but also in our own lives.
The trip will occur on
Date. Up until this time our
group will be training together and praying for the success
of this trip. Would you consider joining us in your prayers?
One of the biggest requests is that we are able to come up
with the financial support to make this trip possible. The
cost of the trip is $ Cost. If
you find you are in a position where you could help as a
financial partner, I would appreciate it. If you are already
sponsoring one of our team, thanks so much. It means a lot
to us that you are helping us to make an impact.
Also, I
want to let you know as a responsible steward that if all of
my support comes in, I will be passing the rest on to help
other needy participants or providing it to supply resources
to help the ministry we are working with. Thank you for your
help. I will keep you updated on the progress of our
trip.
